We begin with a conversation, where you are invited to share how you are feeling and what brings you to the session. Together, we set an intention that becomes the foundation of the work. You are invited to light a candle for this intention, marking the transition from the outside world into a more inward, reflective space.
The massage then unfolds intuitively, followed by quiet time at the end for rest, integration and a gentle return to everyday awareness.

What happens at the beginning of the session?

When you arrive, we take time to settle. I will offer you a glass of water, and we sit together in a calm, unhurried way. This is your space to arrive fully, to speak, and to be heard. There is no rush.
The massage begins with my voice. I welcome your body with a traditional Hawaiian prayer chant, allowing me to tune into your energy and the intention you have set. From there, the session flows naturally and intuitively.

Do we talk during the massage?

During the massage, we remain in silence. This is a conscious and caring choice.
Silence allows you to move out of the thinking mind and into a deeper relationship with your body. Soft, soothing music, mostly Hawaiian, supports the rhythm of the massage and allows my movements to remain fluid, grounded and continuous. This quiet space helps the nervous system settle and invites a deeper level of relaxation and self connection.

You do not need to bring anything special with you. Drinking water and disposable massage underwear are provided.

At certain moments, gentle joint movements are naturally included as part of the flow. When working with your arms or legs, I will lift and guide them through slow, mindful movements to support ease and release. You are invited to let me carry the movement for you. When the body feels supported and no longer needs to control, relaxation deepens and a natural sense of inner connection can unfold. Your body gently shows me its own comfortable range of movement, which allows the work to remain safe and respectful.

What should I wear and do I need to undress fully?

Traditional Lomi Lomi Nui is usually received fully undressed, without personal underwear, as fabric can interrupt the long, flowing strokes and absorb the oil needed for smooth movement.
Your comfort is always my priority. I provide disposable massage underwear designed specifically for this work. It allows me access to the areas I work with while helping you feel comfortable and protected. Many clients find this to be the most comfortable option.
If you would like to use the disposable underwear, please let me know before the massage begins. You are always welcome to undress to your own level of comfort.

How is modesty and professional safety ensured?

This work is deeply nurturing and always held within clear professional boundaries. The massage is non sexual and focused entirely on relaxation, release and reconnection with yourself.
Your lower intimate areas are always covered with towels. For women, the chest and abdomen may be worked on with care and respect. Breasts are never massaged directly, and any exposure is brief and purposeful. You are always welcome to share your preferences or boundaries before the session begins.

Can a session take place without a towel or sheet?

Lomi Lomi Nui is a deeply nurturing and flowing massage, but it is never sexual. Draping is an important part of maintaining that clarity. Your body is always covered, with only the area being worked on gently uncovered at any given moment.
These boundaries protect both you and me, and they allow the session to remain what it is meant to be. A space for deep relaxation, presence, and connection with yourself, without confusion or crossed lines.
